In my opinion, this is exactly what a tropical wine should be---not vulgar, a bit edgy, but with a solid backbone of good acidity, volume, and a touch of minerality. The nose offers typical tropical notes mixed with black currant leaves (just keep the cats away!), grass, wet pebbles, mint, and lime. It's a bit oily in texture (in a good way), medium-bodied, with acidity that isn't super high but still fresh, perfectly complementing the subtle saltiness in the finish. Neat.
