Lovely and sophisticated wine entering golden age. I mean, it surely has aging potential, but it's so damn good just now. Expressive bouquet: oil paint, ripe cherry, earth, red flowers. Well balanced, medium-bodied with good volume and long aftertaste. Good value.
Tasted as part of Na Uzbičči event.
Vines are growing with East exposure on 1.68 hectares plot named Aux Fourneaux, located in Savigny-lès-Beaune. The soil is mostly clay with some limestone in the upper part of the parcel.
Fermentation in concrete vats for 15 days. Aged for 18-24 months in oak.
