Pineapple, peach, lemon soda and creme brulee over white flowers. Bright and very friendly, lush and round, with a flicker of sherry and a sweetish-seeming core - but the acidity holds it all up and the Le Mesnil chalk keeps it honest. A Grand Cru blanc de blancs, oak-fermented and finished bone-dry as an extra-brut, so all that generosity arrives without sugar. Properly classy.
Mesnil Expérience is a Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs from André Jacquart, made entirely from Chardonnay grown in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger on the Côte des Blancs. It is a non-vintage cuvée that blends a base year with reserve wines from earlier harvests. The base wines are fermented in old Burgundian oak barrels with no malolactic fermentation, and the wine is aged on its lees before release. It is finished as an Extra Brut with a low dosage of about 4 g/l. Imported to Ukraine by ФОЗЗІ КОММЕРЦ (Fozzi Commerz).
