Sangiovese by Vasyl Velykanskiy
A small and humble party dedicated to Sangiovese grape organised by Vasyl Velykanskiy.
By Boris · Hosted by Vasyl Velykanskiy
At a recent blind tasting orchestrated by Vasyl Velykanskiy, six Sangiovese wines were the subjects of our scrutiny at Lo wine bar. My own journey with this grape being in its infancy, I found the experience particularly enlightening. Stella di Campalto's offerings had already piqued my curiosity, so the anticipation to experience her Brunello was high. And you know, it did stand out, unmasked and unrivaled in a lineup where names were known only after scores were given. The verdict was clear: the esteem for Stella's craft is not just well-earned, it's a producer of its own league.
