Domeniile Vorniceni Trei Mândre Spumant

Trei Mândre means, roughly, three beauties, and Divus Winery uses the name for blends of three white grapes. The still Trei Mândre is Viorica, Floricica and Fetească Regală. The sparkling version keeps the last two and swaps Viorica for Fetească Albă.

All three belong to this part of the world. Fetească Albă is an old native, Fetească Regală is its Transylvanian offspring, and Floricica is a newer Moldovan selection.

The bottling carries the name Domeniile Vorniceni; Vorniceni is the Codru village where the winery sits. It is finished as a brut.

The still wine and the sparkling one share a name and two grapes. The third is where they part.
