Same experience as before with this one. Well-crafted, sure, but it's crowd-pleasing in that slightly desperate way. Low acidity meets MLF roundness meets oak softness, with tropical fruit wafting through. Lush, predictable, and ultimately a bit boring. It's the wine equivalent of a focus group decision. Not offensive, not exciting, just… there.
Straightforward Mâcon that knows what it's about. Tropical edge to the fruit - nothing too exotic, just ripe and obvious. Touch of flowers, honeyed and buttery roundness, decent structure holding it together. Low acidity makes it soft and friendly rather than exciting. It's got volume and drinks easy. Perfectly fine Tuesday night (actually, morning) wine that won't challenge anyone or offend anyone. Does exactly what entry-level Burgundy should do: tastes good, doesn't cost much, leaves you satisfied enough.
This one is actually nice. A well-balanced mix of tropical and stone fruits, with oak making its presence known but not overpowering. On the palate, there’s a pleasing creaminess that doesn’t come at the expense of acidity, keeping it fresh. It’s not the most complex wine, and it leans a bit heavy—but hey, it’s Mâcon. A solid, enjoyable sip and very reasonably priced.
