Pouilly-Fuissé

Tinned sardines, grilled lime, yellow stone fruit. As always with this producer, they're missing acidity - it's all rounded edges and lees texture. Sterile, in a clinical sort of way. Hints of tropical fruit and mandarin emerge, but it's flat and boring. Food wine, nothing more.
