This divides the room, and I get why. Opens with that Canarian reduction - restrained but present - then blood and Nordic berries crash in. Like Eben Sadie's Cinsault had a baby with young Nebbiolo and added volcanic soul. The fruit is beautiful when you find it - pomegranate everywhere, marine minerality threading through, spices keeping things lively. But here's the thing: it's still closed, those tannins genuinely harsh against the delicate frame. Second glass confirmed it - the wine is packed with personality but needs time to sort itself out. I'm a sucker for blood and pomegranate, so maybe I'm biased. Love it.
