Textbook rosé de saignée colour. Yet the nose won't commit - strawberry, red apple, rosehip and roses playing hide-and-seek with chalk. The palate's weirdly calm, almost too even. Chalky-marine minerality with a creamy edge, maybe a touch of fermentation character. I spent an entire evening with this bottle (solo mission, as usual), trying to crack its code. Nothing. It's beautiful, sure, but when the heck do you drink this? With what? Why? Shy, closed, uncertain of itself - like it's waiting for permission to be interesting. The high score still feels right because it's objectively lovely, but emotionally? Frustratingly cold elegance.
