Le Meix Cadot sits on clay just below the premier cru climat of the same name; En Rosey is on clay-limestone on the Mont Varot plateau, and Montagne de Remenot on limestone, both in the west of the appellation.
The grapes are picked by hand, sorted, destemmed or not depending on the year, and given about a week of cold maceration in wooden vats. The wine then spends 12 months in barrel, a third of them new, and six more in steel. The 2022 was fermented with a little whole bunch.
Across Burgundy, 2022 was a dry, hot year with a generous crop, picked from late August.
