Incredible wine that defies its age. One could hardly believe this Aglianico is 24 years old. Notes of sweet mint, tar, jam, pine, tobacco, and black pepper create a simply gorgeous bouquet. Unexpectedly fresh with good acidity and wonderfully integrated tannins that are mature but still kick. Generous, complex, intense, and delicious---despite the heaviness, it's still quaffable!
