Veraton

Powerful Garnacha from low yielding 45-65 years old vines. A pleasant bouquet of medicinal herbs, black currant, raw meat and red berries. Unexpectedly fresh, even elevated a little. Juicy and flavourful. I am not sure if it's just not ready yet, or if the winemaker is flirting with the low-intervention style, but there was a strain I didn't like. Though overall it's pleasant to drink, that 15.5 abv manifests only in getting drunk quicker.
