Thought it was natural Spain blind - the juicy red-fruit register pulled my guess that way - until the Etna mineral signature emerged underneath. Raspberry sits front and centre, with a flicker of sweat threading through, fresh and bright. Complex on the surface, but the depth doesn't quite back it up. Tasty though.

Etna Rosso DOC from Andrea Franchetti's Passopisciaro estate on the northern slopes of Mount Etna (Castiglione di Sicilia). The estate's entry red - Nerello Mascalese-dominated fruit drawn from across the volcano's contrade.
