It's a great choice to learn about Champagne ageing. Little to no fruits, but the bouquet is rich with notes of cheese, mould, wet cellar, ripe apples, Jerez, nuts, and oak. It's almost full-bodied with a long aftertaste and rich profile. Relatively complex and multilayered. But boy, the value here is great.
