·@BorisHonestly, I struggle to evaluate this wine. On the one hand, it's clearly well-made, and it's Ukrainian (which makes criticism feel almost unfair or rather unforgivable). But oh - there's just not much joy in the glass. The aggressive oak and low acidity make me doubt its ageing potential, even though there's enough residual sugar to keep it technically safe for a while - perhaps it'll evolve like some of those bold Monastrells.
Still, it's loud, bold, easy to grasp - you can see why people love it. But once I saw the price, my heart sank a little. So let's leave it without conclusions, at least for now.
