This wine caught me off guard when served blind - I didn't peg it as a pet-nat, especially with its surprisingly clear appearance, devoid of sediments or cloudiness. It turns out, the bottle had been resting still for days, allowing the sediment to settle at the bottom before the chiller froze it in place. A tricky accident, really! Soon enough, though, the familiar cloudiness made its return.
It's a straightforward and easy-going pour, delightfully fruit-forward with a medley of stone fruits and lemon. There's a creamy texture with a hint of salinity, offering decent concentration and acidity. Simply enjoyable, capturing the carefree essence pet-nats are known for.
