Tasted blind. Initially thought Chacra, but slightly different. Given who brought it and context clues, quickly narrowed down to Argentina - then it was easy. So my guessing wasn't entirely fair.
Rhubarb, strawberry, forest berries, cream. Good acidity. Alcohol (14% here) integrates well. Properly southern wine from cool regions. Not complex, but good and easy-drinking. Pleasant, unpretentious stuff.
