Ribeca Perricone

When it comes to big and traditional producers from Sicilia, Firriato is one of my favourites, because they produce good, stable, approachable and sometimes interesting wines. Ribeca (made of 100% Perricone) is definitely interesting and not simple, it has beautiful ripe bouquet of milk chocolate, menthol, ginger, juniper, cardamon, vanilla, prune and sweet tobacco. Bright, powerful and delicious, getting close to it's peak.
