4.4

Funkier than the 2022, with a hint of cucumber joining the party. But that nose - delicate, layered, sunflower seeds and earth. The palate is impeccably balanced: still lively, still interesting, with genuine complexity that rewards attention. This is what aged Lapierre should be. And it's still young.

4.2

It's surprising how youthful this wine feels, despite being 15 years old. The nose has a slightly natty quality, yet everything is well integrated. Aromas of dogwood berries, wild strawberry, earth, dried gouache paint, and dried fruits create a captivating bouquet. On the palate, it is super juicy, round, and delicate, offering an easy and enjoyable experience. Yet it also has power. It's beautiful now and had the potential to evolve further.
