·@ShotiA seriously good bottle, and even better at table. The nose is bright and classically amber-wine in character - tea leaves, apricot jam, dried medicinal herbs - but without the cloying sweetness or wildness that can plague the style. Everything feels precise and well-integrated. Lively acidity, and the tannin is still muscular but has softened with time. This wine chews through rich Georgian food without breaking a sweat and leaves you wanting more. Layered and genuinely delicious.
About Producer
Small producer from Kakhetia. Cultivates Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane and almost extinct Jgia. All wines are hand made. Uses qvevri, of course. Annual production is less than 5000 bottles.
