Oh my goodness, this is overpriced as fuck. Winetime, wtf. $30? Fair price abroad. But $100? That's straight-up theft.
Price aside, the wine is just... fine. Too young, too angular. There's fruit, sure, but it's buried under earth, tobacco, and spice. The tannins are rough and grainy, the palate is dry and unyielding - not a wine you want to relax with. It's all power, no charm.
Honestly, a bit of a downer. I'd take Culasso for finesse or Fletcher for more polished muscle any day.
