This Langhe could benefit from a bit more time in the cellar, as the tannins are still quite green. However, with some time to breathe, it opens up and becomes more delicious. The wine presents a blend of red and black fruits, red flowers, and herbaceous notes, along with touches of tobacco, leather, and earth. Despite these earthy descriptors, the nose leans predominantly ripe and fruit-forward, with other elements subtly adding sophistication. On the palate, it is firm yet ripe, with fruit dominance reinforced by barrel and herbaceous notes. While juicy, the acidity is not particularly high. All that, combined with green tannin and earthy notes, results in a pronounced and somewhat masculine profile.
