Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers Rouge

Restrained bouquet of dark plum and other black fruits, spices like white pepper and bay leaf. Almost full-bodied, but well balanced with almost silky tannin. Long slightly bitter aftertaste with flavours of black fruits and licorice root. So it's not something extraordinary, just a good and approachable Syrah that has interesting bits in it.
