Bourgueil Mi-Pente

This wine features a charming bouquet of candied dark cherry, wild sweet dark cherry (negru cireș), earth, chocolate, and night flowers. Though young, it has a silky texture and is not overly extractive. The tannins are green yet delicate and well-integrated. The finish has a hint of weeds, but it remains predominantly fruit-forward with notes of red plum and a touch of tobacco. A deliciously crafted wine.
