Delicious stuff. One of the very few great bottles this importer brings to UA market. Red Nordic berries, ripe cherry, flowers, underbrush, spices, mushrooms - a lot going on. Fresh, medium-light in body, brimming with energy. On the palate - earthy spices, sour cherry, dogwood berry. Still very young, needs proper aeration to mellow down. So quaffable.
Quite peculiar wine, reminiscent of northern Côte de Nuits, like Fixin or Marsannay, or even Coteaux Champenois, which makes sense given its origin. It presents a captivating mix of red Nordic berries, underbrush, spices, and mushrooms. Over time, cherry and red flower notes emerge. The wine is fresh and medium-light in body, brimming with energy and flavour. On the palate, it offers earth spices, sour cherry, and dogwood berry notes. It's still very young, so proper aeration is a must to mellow it down, albeit I love to witness the evolution in glass.
