Les Courtisols du Fût[ur] is the Sacy siblings' parcel bottling from the lieu-dit "Les Courtisols" in Verzy, grand cru on the Grande Montagne de Reims. The bracketed name is a pun on fût, the barrel the wine is made in, and futur. It is a blanc de noirs, 100% Pinot Noir vinified as a white, and the back label calls it a cuvée parcellaire and puts the block at the top of its slope. The same lieu-dit also feeds their Coteaux Champenois red, bottled as Le Travers des Courtisols.
Fermentation was spontaneous and took place in barrel, with the malolactic left to complete naturally. The wine was disgorged on 17 September 2025 at 0 g/L, brut nature, neither fined nor filtered, and bottled at 12%. 1,960 bottles were drawn.
2021 was one of the hardest recent vintages in Champagne. Spring frost cut the crop sharply and then a wet spring and summer brought sustained mildew and rot pressure right through to picking, making it one of the smallest French harvests in decades. Yaël and Jonathan Sacy work about eighteen hectares across six villages according to their importer, and began converting to organic farming in 2021, so this bottling comes from the first years of that shift. As with the rest of the range, the wine is legally a négociant one: the label reads "élaboré par Louis de Sacy à Verzy" under matriculation NM 292-013, the older family house at Louis de Sacy.
