The domaine's terroir page gives the parcel as one piece within old walls, deep clay-silt soil, a south to south-east slope and vines 75 years old, and says the walls store the day's warmth, cut the wind and give the clos its own slightly earlier microclimate; the wine sheet adds 200 m of altitude. That sheet, written for the current 2025 release, describes the farming as uncertified organic and biodynamic practice and the harvest as mechanical with sorting, one of the plots picked by machine where most of the estate is hand-picked, then slow pressing without rotation, 8 to 16 months in stainless-steel tanks, light sulphur, gentle filtration and estate bottling, at about 15,000 bottles and a drinking window the house puts at three years. Burgundy's 2024 was wet from budbreak through July, with mid-April frost, localised but violent hail from May into early August that reached the southern Mâconnais, constant mildew pressure, a harvest from 12 September for still wines, heavy sorting, a cut crop and lower alcohol than recent years, per the BIVB; nothing published says whether the clos itself was struck.
