Sauvignon Blanc Südsteiermark Spätfüllung

A rather confusing experience. I am not sure if this wine developed into an unpleasant area or if it's just me that wasn't ready for a relatively heavy and herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc. A seemingly sophisticated mixture of holy basil, estragon, black currant leaves, lemon, meringue and sea pebbles. Expressive even pompous, but interesting and well-made. It could get a higher score but the lack of balance and warm aftertaste ruined the image.

Wonderful as always. Sophisticated and expressive bouquet: citrus, black currant leaves, pepper, cheese, green grass and flint. Fresh, crisp and delicious Sauvignon Blanc with long and flavourful finish.
