Tasted blind. My bet was on some natural Australian (Adelaide Hills?), but definitely not Chardonnay. Also expected it to be fermented in clay or concrete vessels. Mushrooms, caramel hints, white plum, nuts. Slightly fizzy with an interesting aftertaste. But overall the palate is unfocused and perplexed.
