Mirgin Opus Paratge Qualificat Vallcirera

This wine leaves me a bit puzzled, possibly opened prematurely just three months after disgorgement. The stress from disgorgement and transit may have contributed to its restrained and less convincing presentation. The nose is straightforward, featuring notes of green apple, oil, candied fruit, and gooseberry. However, the palate delivers what you'd expect from a Cava. It's nicely intense, super dry with a touch of bitterness in the finish, mingling oil and green apple flavors. There's a hint of minerality present, but overall, it seems like this bottle isn't quite ready to show its full (or even partial) potential.
