Tasted blind. Since I knew that Oregon was on the menu, I guessed it here. In my previous notes, I hoped to taste this wine blindly to be subjective. And I am happy to confirm my high score blindly. Warm classical bouquet of red flowers, cherry candy, confiture and baking spices. Generous and open wine. Good balance, velvety structure, good fruit and acidity.
Now close your eyes, take a sniff and take a sip. Unfortunately, I tasted not blindly, so I might be exaggerating, but this Pinot Noir is made in classical old-world style. Cherry candy, cherry confiture, peonies and rosé petals. Almos ideally balanced, this Pinot Noir is elegant and sophisticated.
