Cramant Grand Cru is Bérêche's Blanc de Blancs from the Cote des Blancs - 100% Chardonnay from two parcels in Cramant: Le Bateau and Chemin de Chalons. First vintage was the 2016. Old vines, vinified and aged in oak in the house style.
The 2019: vintage cuvee, 48 months on lees, disgorged July 2024 as Extra Brut. Cramant chalk gives a particular kind of tightness - all bone and lift - and Bérêche's barrel work tempers that with shape and a measured texture without softening the line.
