Same Vrigny as before, holding shape across releases. The aromatic register stays delicate yet sophisticated - lemon candy, bread, cider, bruised apple, cherry plum, with a flicker of cheese underneath. Pillow-like mousse on the palate, vinous and assertive, properly balanced and properly long. 100% Pinot Meunier doing what only a few houses can get it to do.

The wine offers a captivating and intense bouquet of lemon candy, freshly baked bread, cider, and slightly bruised apple. Its medium-full body is vinous, clean, and precise, with a racy and focused character. The aftertaste is lasting and flavourful.
Despite initial concerns about its condition after the journey to Kyiv, the wine turned out to be in a beautiful state. I can only wonder how it will improve with time.
