Langhe Rosato

This rosé started off oddly - the nose was distractingly fishy, like someone dropped a tin of sardines into the glass. Not necessarily a bad thing, but a strange match for what otherwise seemed like a delicate pink.

But once it blew off, it turned into something simply enjoyable. Not the most complex wine out there, but who said it needed to be? It's got good fruit, a bit of candy, and plenty of freshness and juice. Easy, satisfying, and kind of endearing.
