Sucette is not your usual Grenache from Barossa because it was made from 140+ years old vines from a rather cold Vine Valley. Yes, yes. It also contains a tiny bit of 90 years old vines, but the point still holds. The result is incredible. A ripe bouquet that is full of berries jam, juniper, berries pie, pepper and leather. It's almost perfectly balanced and offers a long and flavourful aftertaste with hints of sweet chocolate and berries. Since it's already so ripe I doubt that it will live long, but I am still curious about its age-ability.
