The wine features a delicate, slightly restrained bouquet with black currant, jam, chocolate, and prune, complemented by nicely integrated vanilla. The palate is smooth and almost velvety, offering decent juiciness and well-integrated, albeit slightly green, tannins. The long multilayered aftertaste adds to its elegance. It's a classy, quite powerful, and young wine, yet impressively well-made.
