The Reserve Chardonnay in this vintage comes from the Golan Heights, a basalt plateau, with the vineyard at 630 metres on volcanic soil. It is 100% Chardonnay, matured 18 months in large French oak barrels, and finishes at a restrained 11.5% - a cooler, high-altitude take on the grape rather than a ripe tropical one. Earlier Reserve Chardonnays were drawn from Upper Galilee; this release is Golan fruit. Kosher.
