Soave Colli Scaligeri Castelcerino

I am not that familiar with Soave, but this one is among the most delicious representatives of the region. A complex and charming bouquet of honey, ripe peach, zest and saline notes. Salty and oily (or even buttery) mouthfeel with good acidity. Round and tasty, it only lacks in the aftertaste. But this salty aftertaste is simply gorgeous.

Soave, huh? This bottle took my expectations, shredded them and set them on fire. All thanks to its rich and complex profile. It literally yells with honey, toffee, and white berries. It has a wonderful volume. The taste is salty and slightly sweet (like cheese, you know?). Unfortunately, the aftertaste is rather short. Still, it's an incredible Soave for a decent price.
