Doudet-Naudin is a négociant house in Savigny-lès-Beaune that has been buying and raising Burgundy since 1849, when Albert Brenot founded it. The Doudet family took it over in 1933 and ran it for just over eighty years, planting vines of their own along the way; in 2014 the house was sold to Christophe Rochet, and the family's vineyards continue under the Domaine Doudet label, today run by Isabelle Doudet.
The house works out of the old family house at 3 rue Henri Cyrot, above cellars whose oldest part dates from 1820. Its habits are old-fashioned in the useful sense: the reds stay on their lees until they are bottled by gravity without filtration, and the cellars hold a stock of older vintages the house describes as a treasure hidden deep in the old cellars, which is how a 1966 can still leave the building with the house's name on it. Its site lists the domaine's wines, En Redrescul among them, alongside its own range, which runs from Crémant de Bourgogne and Vin de France Pinot Noir to village and Premier Cru Burgundies.
