Touch of oak, honey that leans more towards lime blossom, and proper Verzy chalk. Sharp attack but then... where's the middle? It's got this natural wine energy with some funky fermentation character, but the mid-palate just vanishes. Like someone forgot to fill in the centre of the painting. Grand Cru terroir shows through, sure, but it feels hollow where it should be singing. Drinks fine, just leaves you wanting more substance.
