Natty entry-level Bourgogne doing exactly what it's supposed to. Bright, lifted, with juicy fruit and a touch of that familiar funk - just enough to keep it lively without going off the rails. Easygoing, fresh, and refreshingly unpretentious. Slightly overpriced for what it is, but that's the game.
Eh, not quite convincing. The nose leans reductive, with hints of underbrush, Nordic red berries, and a touch of animal farm. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with decent acidity and easy enough to drink - but something doesn't quite click. It feels like it's missing focus or cohesion. Pleasant, but not fully resolved.
