Not for me, this. Better than last time, sure, but it's just too much - power for power's sake. The fruit's decent enough, but the oak steamrolls everything and those tannins... oof. Proper brutal. Drinks like they forgot this was supposed to be the approachable little brother to Brunello. It's trying so hard to be serious that it forgets to be enjoyable. Maybe it'll settle down, but right now it's all muscle and no charm. Pass.
Oof, this one is tough. Jammy and straightforward, which isn't necessarily a flaw, but the balance is off. The ethanol sticks out, the tannins are harsh and sandy, the acidity feels weak, and despite the jamminess, it lacks real fruit depth. Hard to say if aging would do it any favours---I'm not convinced it will ever truly come together. Probably best to pass on this one.
