Proper stuff. Dense mix of apple seeds, vanilla, cinnamon, toasted yellow fruits, brioche, a touch of cider and ferment funk. Sharp on the palate in a good way - nice oxidative character with honey, cider notes, hazelnuts, butter. Excellent structure. Hard candy on the finish, bright acidity. Delicious. Sure, at this price point there's plenty of more exciting wine in the world, even from Champagne itself, but this is genuinely well made.
