Altenberg Riesling Auslese

I'm genuinely impressed by this wine. I usually don't lean towards overly tropical bouquets, but this one strikes a perfect balance, avoiding any sense of being overwhelming or vulgar.

The delightful mix of mango, peach, pineapple, lychee, and lemon marmalade is expertly intertwined with notes of petroleum, sea breeze, wet pebbles, and biscuit. The wine's freshness and decent acidity complement its mineral profile, finishing nicely with a chalky texture and a hint of calendula. Impressive and simply delicious.
