No expectations going in - Moldovan wine I hadn't tried was reason enough. Pleasantly surprised. Not the most complex ice wine out there, but well-executed and genuinely enjoyable. Tropical fruit - pineapple, mango, white peach - kept subtle rather than syrupy, with orchard notes, pine nuts, and a neat honey layer. Good acidity makes 135 g/L residual sugar feel manageable. What's missing: salinity and mineral depth. The spine is there, but it needs more dimension to truly sing. Still, loved every drop, especially with light sweets.
