Not sure about this one. Tasted it blind and guessed the country more out of luck than terroir-driven clues - nothing really stood out in that sense. The wine felt vague and muffled - tropical and creamy on the nose, but underdeveloped and shy, as if the descriptors had to be carved out with effort. On the palate, it's overly sweet and creamy, lacking freshness, and while a hint of minerality tries to salvage the experience, the low acidity seals its fate. Just too cloying to stay compelling.
