It's delicate and ethereal at the beginning. The 2014 Vitovska offers notes of mushrooms, cheese, sardines, caramel and peach. Interesting palate where everything is in balance. The acidity and tannin are nice and balanced and a bit pointy at the same time. Flavourful, evolving and persistent. It's definitely sophisticated but somehow muted and silent.
Grapes for the 2014 Vitovska come from 20-year-old vines. The juice is fermented with the skins for up to twelve months with further ageing in 30-hectoliter Slavonian botti for 18 months.
