Largillier Blanc de Noirs

Beautiful nose - ripe pear and apples (ripe, not bruised), clean cider, redcurrant, a touch of flowers and subtle oak influence. Hint of brioche. Good acidity and structure, elegant but textured, not at all meaty. Fine mousse, perhaps slightly pointy but well balanced. Long finish with that pleasant bitterness of crushed apple seeds. My only reservation: it fades quicker than I'd like. But genuinely lovely.
