The wine was served blind, and I initially guessed it was a Muscadet. Notes of wet yeasty dough, raw white fish, dried white flowers, and subtle hints of dried yellow fruits. On the palate, it presents flavors reminiscent of riverbank pebbles. The finish reveals an intriguing bitterness paired with some acidity, but overall, the wine feels somewhat muted and elusive. Still, it's a good Muscadet from 55-to-70-years-old vines.
