La Bulle Rouge Méthode Ancestrale 19/20

Sparkling rosé/red that's genuinely fun. Rhubarb, currants, barberry candy, touches of herbs. Good tannin grip, excellent acidity, long fruity finish with a lovely bitterness running through. There's something like guelder rose crushed with sugar in the flavour - that specific sweet-tart-bitter thing. Delicious and interesting without trying too hard. Proper enjoyable stuff.
